In 2020, Starfish Demolition was selected for a specialized project at 10 Acadia Street in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, to support the expansion of parking facilities for the Dartmouth General Hospital. The scope of work included lead abatement and the partial demolition of the existing building to create space for the new parking area.
Our team executed the lead abatement with precision and strict adherence to environmental and safety standards, ensuring that all hazardous materials were removed properly. Following the abatement, we carefully demolished half of the structure, coordinating closely with project stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to nearby operations and traffic flow.
This project highlights our ability to manage sensitive abatement procedures alongside structural demolition in urban environments. If you have a project that demands safety, technical skill, and environmental responsibility, Starfish Demolition is the partner you can rely on.
